Jason Obenhaus

Jason Obenhaus is an Executive Managing Director of TriGate Capital and is focused on sourcing, acquiring and managing commercial real estate investments. Since joining the firm in 2008, Mr. Obenhaus has completed transactions across a variety of markets and asset classes. Mr. Obenhaus is a member of the firm’s Management Committee, Investment Committee and Asset Management Committee, and oversees TriGate Income Partners.

Prior to joining TriGate Capital, Mr. Obenhaus was an Associate with Onex Real Estate Partners, the real estate arm of Onex Corporation. His experience included underwriting debt and equity investments and evaluating real estate operating company investments. Prior to Onex Real Estate Partners, Mr. Obenhaus was an Associate with the leveraged finance group of Fieldstone Private Capital Group. At Fieldstone Private Capital Group, Mr. Obenhaus specialized in equity and debt transactions for oil and gas service companies. Prior to Fieldstone Private Capital Group, Mr. Obenhaus was a high yield and distressed credit analyst with SAMCO Capital Markets.

Mr. Obenhaus has a B.S. in Engineering & Economics from Vanderbilt University, an MBA from Columbia Business School, and completed the CFA Charterholder Program. In addition, he is a member of the University of Texas Real Estate Finance and Investment Center Associate Council.
